If it’s summer, Pike, 38, must be a marathoner. When the snow flies, he’s a Nordic skier. Whatever the season, for a dozen years he’s represented the United States at the highest levels of adapted sports. His best Paralympics finish has been sixth place, but his success rate at world championships has been much higher. He has seven medals from worlds: two gold, three silver and two bronze.
